Aboveground Biomass On Niwot Ridge

Aboveground Biomass Anomalies by Year

This figure shows annual deviation in aboveground biomass from the long-term mean in an alpine dry meadow on Niwot Ridge. Aboveground biomass is measured as net primary production (NPP) and averaged across all vegetation types. Positive values indicate more biomass than average while negative values indicate less biomass than average.
